Mint Leaves Rasam

Well! This is my first post to my new blog.I'd like to share this recipe.I make this Mint leaves rasam often which is really good with rice and papad. Its quick and easy to do if you have cooked toor dhal handy and kind of having a different taste.

1.Mint leaves-a handful
2.Tomato-1 small
3.Jeera-1 tpsp
4.Black pepper-1/2 tpsp
5.Cooked Toor Dhal-a handful
6.Tamarind Juice-1/2 cup
7.Turmeric powder-1/2tpsp 7.Salt-per taste
8.Rasam Powder-1tpsp
Mustard seeds,Jeera and curry Leaves for seasoning

How to make:
In a pan add a little oil and add tomato,mint leaves,pepper and jeera. Fry till the mint leaves it and grind it in a blender.
Now in a pot add this ground with tamarind juice and 2 cups of water.
Bring to boil and add toor dhal to this can grind the dhal and add or you can simple add it.Add rasam powder and salt as per your taste.
Do the seasoning in the end.
