Following the last post i made this badam halwa for the diwali.I know about this after i got married and also my hubby's fav. This is my MIL recipe which i follow always.

.Bring the water to boil and add the badam boil for 5 mins.
.Remove from heat and cool down.
.Peel the skin and grind by adding little by little milk.
.The batter should be like a dosa batter.
.Take heavy bottom pan,add a tbsp of ghee and the almond batter.
.Keep in medium flame and stir often.
.When the mixture starts to bubble add the sugar with saffron and keep stiring.
.When the mixture becomes thick, start adding 2tbsp of ghee at a time.keep in medium low flame.
.Once the mixture comes as a mass, also the ghee starts to ooze out stop adding ghee.
.Add cardamon powder and stir for a min and remove from flame.
